After five weeks of travel, my wife and I spent four wonderful days with Hassan at his guesthouse in the countryside south of Fez- a welcome break from urban travel and a great outdoor experience. As with all of our previous traveling, and we've done lots, our most memorable experiences are those involving people from the places we visit. This was no exception. The owner, Hassan, was the best of hosts. Whether it be walking in the countryside, or joining him on an outing to take olives from his property to a nearby factory to be pressed into oil, or enjoying an excellent Moroccan meal together at his guesthouse, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone. PS Hassan will pick you up in Fez and at the end of your stay return you back to the city if you wish.
